Greta was accepted by all her so-called "safety" schools (Seton Hall, Fordham, SUNY New Paltz), and is now waiting to hear from most of her preferred tier. The first of them came through last weekend with a modest academic scholarship and an invitation to become a Northeastern Husky, class of 2027. The twist? She would start as a student in their "N.U. In" program -- meaning she would study abroad her first semester, exact location TBD, but historically it looks like it is usually a large U.K. or European city. She was overjoyed to hear the news and we are very proud of her! Still to come: Georgetown, American, Tufts, Middlebury, Wellesley, Cornell, Dickinson. Our girl's definitely gonna have choices! And I'm gonna start a GoFundMe. Please do your part.
One of my closest friends goes to Northeastern and I enjoyed visiting there this past summer. A good choice!
