We closed out the weekend with some rare entertaining. Carah's SCAD classmate Janet and her family came over for brunch and a few rounds of Taboo, then I went on the longest run of my life, and when I got back Phyllis' car was in the driveway to watch the Jets and Giants play losing/tie-ing football, respectively. Carey cooked pasta and meatballs for dinner and I made a fire and all was well at 2148 Morrow Ave. on Dec. 4.

My aforementioned long run -- I hadn't ever traveled more than 6 miles using just my legs, but was feeling strong and the weather was unseasonably warm for December. I will say that even a half marathon is ridiculous though. Truly don't know how people do that.

Phyllis was more tuned into the football games than Yeager was.
