Thanksgiving '22

For the first time in years, I didn't ask the kids what they were thankful for Thursday morning and they didn't volunteer.  So the calcification of the human heart is right on schedule in today's youth.  We did have a great day and a half with family in Syracuse, including a Thursday repast  with all the fixins and a pre-feast smorgasbord created by Carey that wanted for nothing but sauteed octopus.  Friday night we went bowling at the lanes where cousin Emily currently has a Liverpool High School gym class.  I exceeded 100 in game 1, Linc in game 2 and Carey in game 3.  That's all it takes to win among such amateurs.

The dinner clan -- grandma, grandpa, the Santillanes family, and the Merrills.

The dessert clan. Add Aunt Kathy and Uncle Kevin, subtract me, the photographer and the anti-dessert guy.
The "Kids' Table," where the math was done and it was reported that the average age is now 18, so the forced segregation is inappropriate, if not inhumane.

The smorgasbord cornucopia.

Pre-dinner homework ... Greta doing calculus, Emily working on a robot for an engineering class, and Alli doing some sort of college assignment.
