We spent at least part of this anniversary discussing how to mark our landmark 25th, so I guess that's a good sign that we're both confident the quarter-century milestone will be met in 2024. Pretty much did our own thing most of the day. Got in a good dog walk together in the morning, then cleaned the house a bit, then Carey ferried Lincoln around to ortho and dental appointments while I biked 15 miles to Ballston Spa to meet up with them and hitch a ride home. Linc had an early dinner at Five Guys while Greta entertained a friend home from college and her classmate Elise. That freed up us lovebirds for an anniversary dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse, courtesy of a Christmas gift card from the Santillanes family we almost forgot about! We each enjoyed something called "Flo's Filet" -- 6 oz. for her, 9 oz. for me. Broccoli side here, Brussels sprouts there. Chopped salads to start, hold the croutons.
