Fruit & flower fest

Carey, Greta and Phyllis continued an annual summer tradition of visiting Buhrmaster Farms to pick blueberries and flowers last weekend. I was not there, so cannot write honestly about the shenanigans, but I'm happy to report they returned home with 2 quarts of blueberries to top my every-other-day bowl of oatmeal and enough flowers to arrange 6-8 vases, some of which Carey gifted to her work team, the rest of which spend the day behind the closed door of our downstairs half bath, safe from Mittens, who opposes beauty wherever it presents itself.

I mean, sure the flowers are pretty, but that HAT!
