Still, nothing stops the dog walks. And frankly, there's so little else to do that I don't know what this family would do without Yeager. He's the reason any of us get out of the house outside of work (Carey) or shopping (again, mostly Carey). But Yeager and I have a date every morning between 8-9 a.m. and again any time after 2 p.m. If the weather is not too bad and the homework not too onerous I can usually coax the kids to join me on a weekday afternoon.
Our reward for the walks is a couch snuggle in the evenings. We have 25 days as of this writing to watch 79 remaining episodes of "The Office" before it leaves Netflix and moves to Peacock. Don't bet against us!
