For the fourth? time in six years, we climbed Bald Mountain outside Old Forge. Three-year-old Kira Bailey walked almost the entire 2 miles with the big kids or her parents and despite some close calls, none of us fell over the edge. Got some good pics during the hike and at various lookouts along the trail. Carey doesn't like leaving camp during a week-long stay, insisting it harshes her relaxation vibe, but I like breaking up the trip and getting out for an iced coffee and a walk in the woods. Only regret this year was not inviting Grandpa Jerry to join us.
