The three of us got a little taste of life without Mommy these last few days while she jetted down to Athens, Ga., to spend some QT with her college bestie Connie. We watched a lot of movies while she was gone (the original "Karate Kid," "Trolls," "Yogi Bear," "Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them" and half of "E.T."), spent 4 hours at Six Flags on Friday afternoon, and 24 hours at South Lake Saturday into Sunday. A few things Mommy would have done differently -- no potato chips before Noon, sunblock on Saturday before sundown, and butter, not olive oil, on the grilled cheese sandwiches (because she would have remembered to pack the former, and probably the milk for cereal, too).
