Greta's 6th grade work is on display at the school district offices this month. We attended a reception Tuesday night to admire her Linear Landscape, inspired by the Grand Canyon, and her ceramic Mayan mask. I don't remember doing anything nearly so complicated in art class. But that's probably because I considered my father a famous artist and was nervous to even pick up a pencil for fear of failure.
