Hiking

I've decided to do more of it. Good exercise, makes me appreciate nature, and the dog likes it. There are a lot of those dark wooden signs with yellow lettering on them in our corner of NY state that designate trails or wilderness areas or nature preserves, so I'm going to check them all out. First up this week was Indian Kill. We neither saw any Native Americans nor dead people, but the hike was nice. Kill is an old Dutch word for stream, apparently. Lincoln wanted to try the Portrait setting on the iPhone 7 because he's seen the Apple commercial for the feature. Advertising works, apparently.
