That will forever be the name of Linc's first basketball team. A couple decent shooters, a bunch of really bad passers, and a few of what the hardwood pundits call "glue guys" - the players who keep the team together by doing whatever it takes to win, from rebounding to defense to setting a screen. I'm quite proud to say that Lincoln revealed himself to be a glue guy in his inaugural season. Didn't score a point today in the end-of-season round robin tournament, but grabbed a dozen rebounds, played great defense, ran up and down the floor non-stop, and exhorted his team to a 3rd place tourney record of 1-3-1. Way to go, kid.
And a proud grandpa watching him grow.
