Greta made her flute performance debut last night with the Craig Elementary Band. She sat first chair, if that means anything at such a young age, and admits she only skipped measure 33 because the girl sitting next to her played the wrong part and she wasn't sure who was right. She resumed with measure 34. The band played a selection of instrument solos with the theme "At the Movies." The flutes performed "A Whole New World" from "Aladdin. She also sang the following songs as part of the 4th and 5th grade chorus: "Snowflakes Fall," "Promised Land," "Risseldy Rosseldy" and "Gloria Deo!" Video to come after I find time to process it from various cell phones. But for now, know that our girl looked and sounded beautiful. We couldn't be more proud.
