Memorial Day duck race

After bacon, eggs and bagels at our house, we headed over to Maplewood's Memorial Park on Monday morning to watch the annual duck race. In a nutshell -- people purchase ducks, they are gathered up and dumped into the river, and the luckiest floater wins. And they really do win -- top prize this year was a 60" TV! Alas, we did not win.
