The kids finally returned to school on Monday, just in time for Indian Summer. It was 90 here today and the AC lumbered back to life. My folks drove the kids down from Rodman over the weekend, while I finished up work at the Toronto International Film Festival. Now we're all one big happy family unit again. The kids almost missed the bus on morning No. 2. Greta went running down the sidewalk with no socks or shoes on and coolly finished dressing on the bus. Last year, bus driver Mr. Will was 10-12 minutes late without fail, but this year with an admittedly small sample size, he's been right on time. So the alarms get set for 645 from here on out.
