Soggy Saturday
It rained like crazy during this morning's Valerie Fund Walk-A-Thon, proving that God has absolutely no mercy. But we endured and circumnavigated the Verona Park lake in a downpour. It wasn't raining when we first arrived, so I got at least one good photo of Jack -- the boy who inspired his family and friends (and some of ours, too -- thanks!) to raise $2,490 for the never-ending fight against cancer.

Or maybe, seeing so many kids with cancer, and their families and friends, and their doctors and nurses, God couldn't help but cry.
