Proud pumpkin
Last weekend, Greta and I carved one of the big pumpkins we picked at The Hollow. Armed with a pink Disney princess carving kit, Greta eschewed the princess templates and insisted we make "a nice smiley face." Rob supervised our endeavor, sorted the seeds for roasting, and kept Lincoln entertained. Both kids really liked the end result, especially when we added a candle and set it on the front porch. When we told Greta it wouldn't last until Halloween, she said that was fine; we'll just have to carve another. Any predictions as to what our next pumpkin might be?
