My best man is getting ready to join the parent ranks. Dudley e-mails this from Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C.:
Everything's fine. I have both e-mail on phone and Internet (although admittedly a bit distracted). I'll call when there's news.
In the meantime, if there's anyone out there this day-after-a-holiday, check his blog, The Bean Patch, for updates. (Which he's writing in a very wanna-be-a-journalist fashion, by the way. We're hiring at the AP, my friend.)
