Conference tournaments are taking place across the country and the American University pep band is making a real difference in the nation's capital. The Eagles won yesterday thanks to some powerful fluting (and an impressive hair bow!) by Greta Merrill and unparalleled energy from the band throughout the second half. They will host Colgate on Sunday in the Patriot League semis. Waiting in the wings? A potential championship game against ... wait for it ... the Bucknell Bison!

ReplyDeleteFirst, I am so proud of my daughter for her response. Second, I blame you (Rob) for Bucknell's performance in the semifinals. Apparently their first home loss to a conference opponent this year. You jinxed them!
ReplyDeleteAmerican vs. Navy TONIGHT (Wed, March 12) for the Big Dance! They are my last hope, as UAlbany was beaten by Bryant in their conference semi as well.
