World Cup Fever

Despite the USWNT's failure to make the quarterfinals for the first time in Women's World Cup history, I have thoroughly enjoyed the 2023 tournament, recording most games that begin before 6 a.m. and setting an alarm to watch the ones, like today's semi between Australia and England, that start at 6. Looking forward to the final on Sunday!  I'll take Spain and the over on 1.5 goals. My colleague Curtis planned the vacation of a lifetime for his 16-year-old daughter, catching 3 knockout round games in Australia and New Zealand while traveling through both countries. He brought me back this winter hat and a small packet of Vegemite, which Greta and I both did not like. Waaaay too salty.
