American Eagle?

It never occurred to me that the mall clothing retailer shares its name with a mid-size undergraduate institution in northwest D.C., but it does now. Greta was admitted to the Class of 2027 at American on Thursday afternoon. She's still waiting to hear from Tufts and Georgetown, so not yet officially accepting their offer, but if I was a betting man, I'd put the odds at over 50%. She loves the city, the internship opportunities and the School of International Studies. Her mother and I also love the city and the friends we have there, so it's a win-win. We are heading down during Spring Break for Admitted Students' Day on April 14, so we'll see!
