An update...

For those regular readers who worry about me when I don't write for a few days... I woke up super dizzy on Tuesday. Got myself checked out and was given a diagnosis of vertigo and a motion-sickness drug which is working pretty well. They didn't bother with a COVID test because I don't have a fever or respiratory symptoms. Still, Google tells me dizziness can be something for some people, so we're being cautious. Trying not to hang out with the kids, wiping down doorknobs, you all know the drill. Because of my spinning head, I missed all of yesterday's election fun but am now fully plugged in the day after. Looks like Mr. Biden will sit behind the Resolute Desk and it'll be up to a few brave senators who may want new roads or bridges in their state to actually pass any legislation until the 2022 midterms. But who knows. I'll be happy to just not have a racist, sexist, xenophobic president and we'll see what happens.

In other health news, Carey had a fractured tooth pulled so has been consuming nothing but Muscle Milk since yesterday. Her arms are looking jacked. The pain seems bearable and she had to ice it every 20 minutes yesterday. She looked like the guy in "The English Patient." (Or was it a girl?)

The kids are schooling and homeworking and our family binge is still "The Office." We're in the middle of season 4.

You're up to date.

  1. Geez, sorry to hear about the dizziness and tooth. Hope you both recover quickly. Please keep us updated on your situation. Kim has had a tendency to experience vertigo. Take care.

  3. Well, it's nice to have a captive, bedridden audience. :-) Felt better yesterday but relapsed a bit today. The motion sickness medicine helps a lot.
