Mohawk Landing

Another weekend, another nature preserve. This one just a couple miles from home, across the Rexford Bridge. The water was low on the Mohawk, so the dry riverbed was spongy, giving a little under our footsteps. Coolest find was a massive lattice of driftwood tree, at least part of which must be submerged when the river is roaring.
