One of the mellowest Christmases ever is almost in the books. The kids slept until about 9, we were hungry before we were eager to open presents, and so we finally finished up around 1130 after monkey bread, scrambled eggs and sausage. Everybody got everything they wanted and plenty of things they didn't even know they needed or even existed. The afternoon was spent walking the dog, reading, playing games and watching Netflix. Dinner was ribs, broiled potatoes and asparagus. Risk was the post-dinner game until the kids got bored. Tomorrow it's off to Syracuse for Christmas with the Pandillo and Santillanes families. To all six of our blog readers, Merry Christmas.
