Grandma Pat and Grandpa Jerry drove down to catch the first Middle School concert of the season, featuring Lincoln performing in both 6th grade band and choir. We had a much better view of Linc in the latter, where he performed with real joy on his face. He was first chair sax in the band as well and when Carey caught up with the teacher at pickup, she recommended private lessons to expand his skills. That's probably in part because the teacher is about to go on maternity leave until the Fall of 2019! Linc can pay me $100/hour to try and remember how to finger an F#
