Greta got to go to Lincoln's favorite radio morning show studio on Friday to represent the Girl Scouts of Eastern New York. 107.7, WGNA. The appearance was to plug some fundraiser here in Albany called Cookies & Cocktails, but the girls also wanted to reinforce that the annual cookie sale is still going on. Unfortunately, two senior girls showed up with one of the organizers and one of them did all the talking about a solar pollinator she created for her Gold Award. Yada, yada, yada. But Greta got to taste Girl Scout Cookie Milkshakes made by the hosts, Brian and Chrissy. It was Tagalongs vs. Samoas and Tagalongs were the easy winner, apparently. Brian made his Samoas shake with almond milk and it was too watery.

The early morning field trip did inspire us to make Thin Mint shakes last night and they were quite tasty! A little chalky no matter how fast you blend the cookies, but a light minty taste with just French Vanilla ice cream and 2% milk.
