A lovely Saturday — my first weekend off in a while — and everybody got 2 hours to do something they wanted to do. I wanted to watch No. 1 UAlbany Men’s Lacrosse play No. 2 Maryland on the Big 10 Network at Recovery Grille Sports Bar with colleagues (The Great Danes won 11-10, scoring 5 unanswered goals in the fourth quarter! Carey joined me and we left the kids to fend for themselves for lunch), Carey wanted to check out this new maple farm about 15 miles from the house that was offering free tours (not so free when you leave with a quart of syrup, some maple cream, maple coffee, maple candies and some maple kettle corn!), Greta has chosen “A Wrinkle in Time” matinee tomorrow and Lincoln wants to go to GameStop (no idea how that’s going to take 2 hours, but whatever). Anyway, happy springing ahead, everyone.
