Four Square

Greta's choice on Sunday for a family activity was some outdoor play time at Lincoln's school. We played "Bomb," which the Girard cousins should remember well from the summer of 2015, Knockout on the basketball court, and Four Square. I took a few photos of the latter, which I think I wrote about years ago when it was super popular among Lincoln's South Orange friends. It has to be the most ridiculous playground game ever made. Nobody ever wins and the rules are flexible, to say the least. It's perfect for an attorney's offspring because all you do is argue over whether someone is out or in and the legality of every hit. Somehow we avoided fisticuffs and went home happy.

Linc prepares for a spinjitsu serve. Totally not fair.
Greta reacts a little late.
