Lincoln's annual "I Am From" poem:
I am from a Wii
From my bunk bed and Legos
From the blue house on 266 Ward Place and the green house on 2148 Morrow Ave.
I am from the sound of cars driving by
From the hibiscus in my yard to the tree out back whose ivy is my arms
I'm from Christmas and movie night
From Carey and Rob
I'm from hugs and kisses
From two wrongs don't make a right and the Golden Rule
I'm from Maryland and New Jersey
From golumpki and gnocci
From the history of my grandad winning radio shows
I'm from the picture of my trip to Baltimore I still remember being splashed by
the dolphins waves the pictures still on my wall and in my book
That is where I am from
