Other news -- Greta was chosen for All-County Band, the only flute from a Niskayuna middle school! Rehearsal and performance are the last weekend of January, I believe.

Oh, and the voters of Niskayuna elected a new town supervisor last night, a 34-year-old political novice named Jasmine Syed. She works as a budget analyst at Albany Med and will now supplement that job with $89,000/year to chair the town board. The only mystery is why she was on the GOP ticket. Not enough local reporters to figure that out before Election Day, so change wins and out goes the old white guy. Ah well. They both promised to lower my taxes. We'll see!
