Greta certainly had a unique birthday party this year, inviting her grandfather to teach eight of her pals how to paint. Grandpa's approach was to sketch the outline of a kitten playing with a ball on an 11"x14" canvas and then talk to the girls about how to mix colors, add shading, texture, etc. I wasn't here to witness it all, but am told the wisdom was well received and I think the results speak for themselves!
