We stayed inside like hermit crabs for most of this freezing Sunday, but poked our collective heads out in the late afternoon for a Costco run followed by a spur-of-the-moment trip to that bastion of overpriced pizza and arcade games you've never heard of before. The kids had a ball. 

I've probably taken 100,000 photos of them since 2005, but when they sat down in the Extreme Cards machine to get their license photo taken, they smiled and mugged for the camera more than they ever do for me.
