Dad's art

I thought I'd post a few pics pilfered off dad's iPhone during his recent visit. Grandma Pat and Grandpa Jerry visited for the last four days, helping bridge the gap between the last day of school, June 25, and the first day of summer camp, July 1. There was plenty of time at the pool, lots of reading and painting and drawing, and more than a few hugs.

Dad's been working on a couple projects -- a larger-than-life wood carving of Abraham Lincoln out of an old stump at his friend Bob Cornell's house and illustrations for a children's book about a kid from Hawaii who spends the summer with his grandparents in the Adirondacks. I thought our artistic-inclined readers -- Karin and Kim and Riley-- would appreciate a look at Uncle Jerry's art.
