It's one of the choices Lincoln has as a bedtime "song." Carey sings a few verses, tucks him in, and it's usually a restful night. A few days ago, though, I guess he actually listened to the lyrics a little more closely. About five minutes after tuck-in, he started crying. Thinking he was playing games and being difficult, I yelled up the stairs and told him to settle down and knock it off. "But Daddy, I'm saaaadd!" So I trudged up the stairs and asked him what's wrong. "The little boy and his Dad never get to spend time together. I don't want to grow up. I always want to play video games with you."
So we're going to finish Lego Batman 2 this weekend, guaranteed.
