Block party

We can't close off our street because it's an ambulance route, but two blocks up where the McVetys live they throw an annual shindig for friends and neighbors. The star attraction this year was a foosball table in the middle of the street. It was good to see both kids getting into it. Perhaps there's hope for them and competitive sports after all.
