National Night Out
South Orange threw a soiree this evening to celebrate our police officers and other uniform personnel and volunteers who try really hard to prevent the shooting that happened three blocks from my house last week.
Anyway, the kids enjoyed it. Lots of games with one of the local gym teachers -- Mr. K. is his mysterious name and he's a bona fide rock star among adolescents -- including toilet tag and water balloon toss and tug of war.
