By far the best thing about our Super Bowl Sunday was the food. Carey baked chicken wings at around 2pm as an appetizer and then at game time we feasted on buffalo cauliflower and
Curtis Stone's sliders with red onion marmalade and blue cheese. I bet around $60 on the game and recouped about $25, so a net loss of $35 on the evening. My wins were on the over (48.5) and the coin toss (tails). Carey and Phyllis did some mock bet thing that Carey saw on Facebook, I think, that featured silly things like "will the first commercial at halftime be for a chip, a soda, or a beer?" No real money was bet, so in my mind, no fun was had. 😀 We all had more fun than Mr. Mahomes, who picked a bad game to learn that his left tackle really was just a guard playing out of position.
