Today is Lincoln's last full day as a Counselor in Training, or CIT, at Bristol Hills Music Camp. No paycheck, but if he wants to apply next year for a counselor gig, this sets him up. Haven't heard much from him except a few texts, so we imagine he's enjoying himself. We've been watching the nightly 8:15 p.m. "recitals" live on YouTube that various campers and staff have been doing and were thrilled yesterday to find out Lincoln and 3 other saxophonists were playing a medley of theme songs from one of my favorite mindless mobile games, Plants vs. Zombies. Alas, the stream was total garbage and the music could not be appreciated at all! But the camp's Google Drive does feature a photo of Linc at a rehearsal, so this post is now not lacking imagery. We pick him up tomorrow afternoon after a nearly 3 hour concert featuring all the campers performing in every musical category you can imagine. It'll be nice to have him home.
