Funeral photos

Nothing tacky, just some shots to remember what was a lovely memorial. Carey and Vickie's eulogies were straight from the heart -- a perfect mix of hurt and happiness. Chris will be missed every day the rest of us are blessed to live, but it was remarkable to see the people who came out on a Wednesday afternoon to pay their respects.

Mommy got in trouble for bringing her "Tennessee Honey" to the church luncheon after the service, but the full bottle was gone in less than 30 minutes when she set up shop in the parking lot! (Full disclosure: It was a tribute to Chris, who did the same thing when their father passed away in 2000.)

The view of the Lackawana County hills from the church luncheon.
A sunset for Chris on the ride home. Colors slightly brightened by Greta, but it really was very vibrant!

Can't thank Phyllis enough for dog-sitting, and stocking our fridge with food!
Carey bought a lovely dish garden that looks great near our fireplace (and Yeager).
