Carey is in "training" -- working her way from the couch to the
Stockade-athon, a 15K road race through old town Schenectady this fall. She's Googled a training program and will stick to it religiously, if I know my wife. So far, she cheated just a little on Monday, opting for a 1.4 mile jog with Linc (I had already mowed the lawn and was tired :-) instead of an "off day." But she cross trained yesterday with Lincoln and me, riding about 6 miles on her bike. The real road miles start today, laying down a base and getting her ready to run 9.3 miles on Nov. 10.
