A lovely one here, precipitated by temperatures pushing 70 on Friday. The mercury dropped, of course, and the wind picked up, leaving us with a chilly Saturday and Sunday, but we made do. I worked, naturally, but the UAlbany men's and women's lacrosse teams both won and I pulled off my first solo doubleheader as a director, so there's that. While I worked, Greta's Girl Scout Troop partnered with some local engineers to construct something out of cans and cookie boxes at the Capitol. Meanwhile, Lincoln and Esme checked out the New York State Museum nearby. Afterward, we all went to see The Schenectady Light Opera Company's production of 1776. The Girards return to pick up their daughter today having spent about 30 hours in Ithaca touring Cornell with Max. Go Big Red.
