Everyone's in bed except me and the beloved. Watching Oprah interview Michelle Obama and blogging in hopes of a better tomorrow. The Girards visited from Thursday to Saturday and we had a swell time overeating -- Indian takeout and boeuf bourguignon -- and watching Yeager and Olive fall in doggie love.
Saturday the Girards headed home to enjoy Christmas Eve and Day in Rye, while Grandma and Grandpa Merrill stayed here for the gift giving extravaganza today. There were a great many books, a great many Legos, and a great big Xbox One S. Also beard oil and fleece-lined flannel and more books.
