The kids are taking fencing lessons on Monday nights at the community center. Class one is in the books and was a smashing success. They spent half their 90 minutes learning footwork, then did some drills trying to apply what they learned. Both were very good at "lunging" to grab a glove the instructor held midway between two opponents. Next week - weapons!
