Grandma Vickie got all the girl grandchildren pogo sticks for Christmas. Since the weather was unseasonably fine in Syracuse on Dec. 26, they enjoyed practicing in the driveway. Greta's is rated for 80-160 lbs., so she's just heavy enough to depress it. She is much better at going backward than forward, but is finding her balance and is now a little sad that there's snow on the ground putting an end to pogo season.
Mom, meanwhile, was a pro at first bounce. Until she fell and almost broke her wrist.
