We knew going in that this summer would be unlike any other, but I gotta say it's been matchless. Drop the kids off at 9 at summer camp, go for a run or a bike ride, haggle a bit with real estate lawyers or mortgage bankers, pack half a dozen boxes, eat lunch, pick up kids at 1, head to the pool or a playground, make dinner, read, watch TV or play a game, bath, bed -- lather, rinse, repeat. I spend exactly zero time thinking about the problems of people who aren't related to me and it's just lovely. One bummer -- I packed the DSLR charger, so all photos for the next month will be iPhone. Here are a couple from the concert on Flood's Hill last night.
