The big melt

The mercury approached 50 today, clearing sidewalks of ice and exposing patches of grass on the edges of lawns. Honestly, it felt like we should be at the beach. Instead we spent an hour in the parking lot of Our Lady of Sorrows, feeling not a bit sad as we hurled snowballs at each other.
