Lost in the corn

We decided to be cliche on Sunday and drove out to Chester, N.J., for an autumnal visit to Stony Hill Farms. No apple picking, but we found this year's pumpkins, enjoyed some cider donuts and got lost for more than an hour in a mighty impressive maze of maize.

This rope maze was just a tease for the corn version.

For $1.25 each, the kids got 3D glasses that let them decode the map. But don't for a minute think that made navigation easy.

There were three bridges throughout the maze and when you found one and stood on top, your heart sank because you could see how lost you truly were.

A lovely DSLR selfie spoiled by that photo-bombing mama again!

Greta chose a big pumpkin.

Lincoln chose a lil' one.

3/4 of the family. If I liked to talk to strangers, we'd have more of these that include me.
