The second kid-friendly institution in Boston was the Museum of Science on Wednesday. Pretty much blew away any Museum of Science I've ever been to. Hundreds of exhibits and dozens of hands-on demonstrations. They must employ half the retirees in Boston. We spent about five hours there and still didn't get to all the rooms. The kids enjoyed the Magic Tree House planetarium show and the Discovery Center. They also spent more than their fair share of time trying to build a satellite out of pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks and the rounded plastic tops from Starbucks frappuccinos.
