Boston Public Library

It wasn't on our itinerary -- OK, we don't really have much of one when we drop into a city for two days -- but it was close to our hotel so we slipped into the Boston Public Library about an hour before closing on Tuesday. The frescoes and architecture were impressive and we were all moved by an exhibit paying tribute to the four unlucky souls who were killed in the marathon bombings last year.
