After a pretty frantic run-up to burying Whitney Houston on Saturday, we enjoyed some well-deserved R&R as a family Sunday and today. Greta got officially diagnosed with pneumonia, but since she's probably had it for weeks and it hasn't done much except cause nighttime coughing jags, we just went about our business. She has a Z-Pack now to hopefully chase it away.

| Prediction: He'll lose the training wheels before his sister. |
Lincoln is REALLY into riding his bike and wants to go everywhere on two-wheels. Favorite destinations include Grove Park half a mile away and the "Shamrock Shop," the corner bodega so-named because it has a lottery sign in the window targeted at Irish gamblers.

| Pneumonia makes her shy. |
Greta tried out her Razer scooter yesterday around the neighborhood, making it as far away as the next block's open house. 4 BR, 2.5 baths for $539k. A steal, grandparents, a steal.
And oddly enough both kids declared their desire to take tennis lessons this summer. To that end, we practiced in the backyard. Both have a pretty solid two-handed forehand on the Wimbledon-like grass.
