Bracing for Irene

We fortified our bodies and our minds with a Dunkin' Donuts stop this morning. The kids are heading in-land to Syracuse this afternoon for a week with Grandma Vickie. Before then, they're enjoying the Turtle Back Zoo with our neighbor Liz. 

Carey comes back Saturday afternoon to join me on the bucket brigade in our basement. Unless there's cool hurricane damage, this is probably my last post until Labor Day weekend. In the words of Tami Taylor (and if you don't know who that is, shame on you), "Stay safe, y'all!"
